If you own a Hyundai Veloster you may start 2013 by getting a couple recall notices in the mail. The Korean auto maker wants to fix the sunroof in certain 2012 Velosters. The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration says the glass in 13,500 models may have been weakened during assembly and could break.
In a second recall, Hyundai says an issue with nearly 5,000 2012 Velosters could cause the parking brake in certain manual transmission models to get dirty, affecting the brake’s ability to keep the vehicle stationary.
Both problems will be fixed free of charge.
